"I guess this is an old hotel that’s been renovated, and some of the work was still going on while we were there. Overall it was fine, but some stuff in the room is brand new and some is old. The walls are totally bare. Funny thing, there’s no TV! And barely any outlets, maybe two outlets for two floors. Bring your own power strip. The fireplace worked, and they left firewood for it. We didn’t see any staff at all, they just texted us the door code. Overall the place has potential. It’s quiet and close to the village but it feels like work in progress."

"Overall, the hotel is very nice! The location is excellent, the breakfasts are delicious with a great variety of options, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the kids’ playroom is fantastic. We really enjoyed all these aspects of our stay. However, the service at the front desk was very disappointing. We checked in at 7-7:30pm, and the receptionist who assisted us — a blonde woman around 60-65 years old with two braids — was extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming. What made the experience disappointing was that my husband had recently undergone knee surgery, so we specifically requested any room that would not require using stairs. Unfortunately, our request was immediately denied without the receptionist even taking the time to listen to our situation or consider any possible alternatives. We weren’t asking for anything special, just a room that would be easier for my husband to access while recovering from surgery. Throughout our interaction, she seemed annoyed by our questions/ requests and showed very little willingness to help. Her attitude made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, especially given my husband’s condition. It’s unfortunate that such a lovely hotel has this kind of customer service at the front desk. A little kindness, understanding, and willingness to help would have made a huge difference. I sincerely hope management pays attention to this issue, as guests deserve to be treated with respect and compassion, especially when dealing with medical or m"

"Property overall is amazing and lives up to the photos. Top floor master has some amazing views, while there’s so much to do on the house itself I don’t think we had enough time to enjoy everything. Bring a large group! Two notes. Fire pits are not allowed for guests, so the picture is nice but only for residents. Also the house in the summer can get a bit warm. There is an AC but it appears disabled. Fans are provided but the cinema room especially as it has no screens or real ventilation. I’m sure in the winter this place is mountain paradise."
