"We had a wonderful stay in the Carriage Suite at the Knickerbocker Mansion and Estates. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with the perfect mix of historic charm and modern comforts. The property itself is peaceful, quiet, and a great place to unwind after a day of exploring Big Bear. A special thank you to Patrick, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. His hospitality made us feel right at home and really added to the overall experience. The location is excellent—close to the Village and Snow Summit, yet secluded enough to feel like a relaxing retreat. We truly enjoyed every part of our stay and would highly recommend the Knickerbocker Mansion to anyone visiting Big Bear. We look forward to coming back!"

"Renovation was on progress during our visit and were assigned on the next building across the street. We booked a standard room without A/C not recommended during summer, winter would be suffice. But the location of this establishment, you don’t need to drive around to visit shop while you can just walk down the street and your there. Veterans park across the street and you can rent kayak/paddle boards and other water activities. As NorCal resident and 45 mins away from Lake Tahoe, we find Big Bear a wonderful peaceful place to visit. Without Jackie and Shadow, we wouldn’t know about Big Bear Lake. There 2 ways to get Big Bear but in prefer the Barstow way east Big Bear and less switchbacks/zigzag the other way is the LA side. For NorCal travelers I would suggest Barstow way to Big Bear."

"Very comfortable stay. Everything is very convenient like parking and Very close to the village. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. The only thing that the room did not have was an AC but the receptionist told us ahead and it was no big deal as the weather was really nice and breezy that there was no need for the AC."

"We had a wonderful weekend in this adorable cabin. Such a peaceful location right by the National forest. Beds were comfy, spa was relaxing and the little good basket was so appreciated. The host was so responsive to questions and checked in to make sure everything was perfect."
