"Clean room, good variety for breakfast"

"We loved our stay here! It’s a nice quiet area with tons of birds. The house is well stocked with nice pots, pans, cookie sheets etc. it was very clean and well kept. We enjoyed hanging out by the river and fishing. We caught creek chubs, smallmouth bass, rock bass, and some bluegills. We brought waders with and they made it easy to get around in the river. Access down to the river was super easy with the steps they have. Our dogs loved the yard and sitting in the sun on the deck. Definitely plan on coming back. One of our favorite vacation rentals! Host was very responsive with any questions we had. "

"Our family had a wonderful stay! The home is beautiful and had one of the most well appointed kitchens of any place we have stayed. The beds and furniture were super comfy. The downstairs game room was great. Honestly it was perfect. The only downside was the hot tub was not working because of the crazy winter temperatures. This was no fault of the owners or management company. We understood this and we did not mind. We were made aware of this ahead of time by the property management company, which we appreciated. We felt right at home and look forward to another stay at this beautiful location. "

"Place is very outdated. It was not clean at all. There was a bucket on the porch with dirty towels that had about 20 dead flies in it. Something sticky all over bathroom floor and furniture. No dish towels. Washer didn’t work. Gas logs eventually came on but smelled so bad we had to turn them off. One of the ceiling fans makes such a noise it can’t be used. Bathroom rug hadn’t been cleaned in forever. They are building small cabins and campsites right beside it so we had to listen to them work all weekend on the cabins. Porch table is rotting. Right on a highway with a very short driveway. The list goes on - I have contacted the host with photos and videos and am still waiting on a decision about a refund a week later. Very disappointed. "

"Beautiful home and was very clean when I arrived. The only thing I would suggest to make it better is to install some LED light bulbs (more than 1 per light fixture ) to bring some light into the house especially for the evenings and nights. I had a couple projects to do while I was there and the dim and dark lighting in the house prevented me from doing that after dark. The rooms have a “yellow or gold” look to them and installing LED lights would give the house a more inviting space. I would highly recommend this house; I have fallen in love with it. "

"The property was comfortable and felt like a home. The owners were friendly, helpful, and very responsive to questions. Loved the comfortable furnishings, the great deck, and the firepit. Relaxation and wildlife were both abundant. Groceries, shopping and eateries nearby. Would definitely revisit. Thanks for sharing your home."

"Getting to this place can be a bit of an ordeal to be honest. We found that Apple Maps was the most accurate. The house itself was great—three teenagers and three adults were happy the entire time. The games, puzzles, and table games were a hit. Jefferson and West Jefferson were an easy drive.We had a blast during our stay. "
