"The house & garden is huge for the Lido area. It’s very well equipped and spacious inside. The location can’t be better with shopping, restaurants and the famous Lido promenade right on your doorstep. The only negative points are that there a loads of mosquitos (definitely buy some citronella candles and repellent for your arms & legs) and dog next door that barks at you every time it sees you, which is impossible to avoid. We did stay in the winter time when there is more rain & moisture around...

"The apartment is wonderfully located and correctly furnished. The view is incredible and worth the stay. Next to nice seaside resorts (Punta Gorda, Lido) and great walks, not far from the bus and supermarkets. The host is very nice and available, the communication was perfect, he even came to look for me at the airport for a reasonable price."

"Very charming place, with excellent location. Easy to walk to the city center, but yet a little outside, thus calm at night. Very friendly host when we met him in the driveway. Small communication issues in the beginning via sms, until weunderstood that we should use whats app. "

"Schön eingerichtetes Appartement, sehr neues und modernes Mobiliar, Leider keine Deutschen Fernsehprogramme verfügbar. Ansonsten, Top modernes Design, großzügig, separates Schlafzimmer, komplett eingerichtete Küche, tolles Badezimmer und auch einen Balkon. Die City ist auch zu Fuß gut erreichbar, in 10-15 min. hat man aber schon die verschiedensten Restaurants zur Auswahl. In weiteren 10 min. ist man in der City von Funchal. Leider hatte der Balkon keine Meersicht, sondern war zur Hauptstraße...

"Enotel Lido is a 10 floor hotel centrally located 10 to 12 minutes by car from old Funchal. We stayed for 7 nights and were impressed with its housekeeping services, pristine grounds, and exceptional buffet menu. Each night was themed and there was an extensive vegetarian option. Lamb, chicken, duck, veal, shrimp and fish were outstanding. Desserts were incredible!! We plan to return as long as the chef doesn’t leave!! Thank you to all the staff for an unforgettable holiday!! ❤️ "
