"Do not recommend if traveling alone as hotel is hidden on a very dark street which my taxi could not find so I had to walk around to find it. Also it does not appear to be a proper hotel but a small apt building converted but did not expect much considering it is a budget hotel. Room was clean but hallways were dark and did not seem clean."

"Booked Hotel Louize because there were no other hotels available on a holiday weekend. We were a group of friends that booked the 1 standard bed and 1 twin bed. The location was very convenient, the staff was very nice (but did not speak english), and the room was spacious for South Korea. However, the ambiance was extremely weird - old building, small hotel (~35 rooms), hallways and rooms painted black, eerie decor and mirrors. It felt a little bit creepy as the building was old, elevator was...

"It's a five minute walk from Janghanpyeon metro station exit 1. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the centre and the key landmarks. I stayed in room 1713 and had a nice view of the Bukhansan national park mountains which was only 1 hour away by metro. Aircon/heating worked well and the water pressure in the shower was great too. I'd recommend. "
"we had the most relaxing end to our 3week holiday in Korea with the last 4 days staying at Douglas house. we were taken good care of by all the staff in particular the dinner staff and breakfast staff. Although the language barrier was a little challenging, they did their best to assist us. Lovely grounds to walk around, there is so much to see and do within the Ealkerhill complex. Thank you all and we would gladly come back again and also highly recommend anyone wanting to stay here"
"Unfortunately, this hotel was way too small. We arrived one day later and were told we still had to pay that night.
The rooms weee extremely small. The first roomโs outlet was not in the wall. The shower was right in front of the toilet. No curtain was available. The sink leaked water and the door did not shut completely.
The room was super small that it was not enough room for luggageโs for three people. The mattresses were hard and the blankets were warm but felt like plastic. They made a rustling noise like plastic bags.
The next day, I asked if I would be charged for all five nights if I checked out that day. They said I would be charged for all nights at the regular rate I booked it for. I asked if a manager could consider at least charging only 50 % and the girl at the front desk kindly said they donโt do that. She was very courteous.
I left that day and they charged my card the $407.11. One night was enough for me at this hotel. I checked into another hotel with way more space with well functioning sinks, a shower with a shower curtain and tub that I didnโt have to worry about the toilet paper getting wet while I showered.
When my teen took a shower, the shower head would not stay in place and it ended up causing water to over flow into the bed areas. I was able to stop it with towels on the floor. I will never stay here again or recommend it to anyone."
