"Local people are very warm n helpful.The hotel did not provide my package with breakfast but no worries, many local foods nearby along the road which is tasty n cheep.Since I can communicate in Bahasa indo we managed to travel most of the trip on local bus n tricycle which is a big saving. "The hotel was old, far different from the pictures on website. Found spider web in all corridor lights, all the way to bathroom lights. Moved bed aside to pick up dropped items and found nightmare of dust and dead roaches. Requested some cutleries and sauce (kecap manis) from the hotel and never heard anything back from the staff ever. Safe to say, I wont be going back to this hotel."

"Abdolutely excellent. I've stayed in a dozen hotels in Semarang. This is the second best in the city. It's not to the same level of luxury as Padma but its still excellent and better value. Certainly a lot better than others in the centre of the city that charge the same rates. It's excellent service, food is very good, it's very clean, relaxing vibe, spacious rooms, lovely pool, gym is standard hotel gym. Overall excellent "

"Tropical paradise. Lush greenery, flowers and butterflies everywhere. Wonderful gym facilities, pool and grounds. They have a nice spa that offers massages at a decent rate. Both Western and Indonesian food are available in the restaurant. Laundry service is fast and reasonable. Staff are friendly and helpful. The family room was large and comfortable and stayed cool even without and AC - although we did have one and used it at night. Rooms have a water kettle, tea and coffee and a refrigerator. A great stay!"
