This is a really nice hotel near the center of town (although not near any tourist sites). The rooms are great, the staff is friendly and helpful. It's near the Metro. The usually-included breakfast has a good variety of Brazilian and other western dishes, although during "rush hour" they are not replaced as often when emptied, and the fruit "juices" are not actual pressed fruit, but oversweet processed varieties. Also, one of the 3 elevators was out of order for some of my stay, which...

Amazing staff. Amazing property. Amazing restaurant. Not as close the the water as you might think as it’s in the upper city. Close to the historic old city which was the icing on the experience.

I had an amazing stay here. The staff is amazing! The property is beautiful. The rooms are good, nothing too fancy. The breakfast was excellent, with so much variety. It's in a nice area; there's a bus stop and lots of shops nearby. The only issue I had was with ubers canceling all the time because the hotel is on a one-way street making it more difficult to get to. Also, I wanted to do laundry thinking there would be a self service laundry room, but it's actually a service they offer for crazy...

The staff greeted us with a detailed overview of things to see and do in Pelorinho and a coupon for two free drinks at the rooftop bar. We went up there right away. Spectacular view over the harbor. Also from our room. Huge king bed and charming room with new bath, including an immense "shower for two," with a rain shower. Huge breakfast included. A great place. Driving there is somewhat hair-raising up and down tiny cobble-stoned streets and getting to the parking garage, through...

We just returned from a ten day stay at the Monte Pascoal. We had a full ocean view with a lovely balcony. We slept very well with the great air conditioning in a room that was basic but clean and comfortable. Always hot water and good water pressure. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty. Staff couldn't have been nicer. We took advantage of the World Cup amenities and several nearby bars and restaurants. Price was definitely high, because of the World Cup but overall we were very happy. ...

Great personnel great service.

We are two U.S. citizens with a second home across the bay from Salvador. We have been observing, from the outside, progress that has been made in the refurbishment of this Art Deco hotel, so conveniently located in the historical heart of the city. Though the hotel is not entirely finished, it is already open to the public. We stayed there this last week and were very impressed by the great taste of the development team that has transformed this historic hotel to the 21st century. ...

Hotel Villa Bahia is beautiful! It is an old mansion that's been renovated and turned into a hotel. We stayed in the "Cochin" room (all the rooms have names instead of numbers and come with old fashioned keys/locks that are most likely original). The room is basically a duplex suite. On the first floor, you walk into the sitting room with a tv, then there's the bedroom with an open air bathroom. Up the stairs on the second level, there is a private sundeck with a little bit of a view of the...

We had a great day here and would definitely come back again.

Stop who cares. You’re wasting my time. Stop stop stop

Straight forward hotel, no issues

For those who like a hotel with character. Great location within quick walking distance to Mercado Modelo and also the best of Pelourinho.

Great location for those who intend to stay in the Pelourinho area.

Great hotel. Staff was friendly. Restaurant had a good breakfast in the morning! Rooftop with pool and bar was VERY nice. Only small negative thing is that is there is nothing close to the hotel in the way of restaurants/bars. You have to walk down a steep hill 10-12min away.

Localização muito boa
