There are numerous dining options within walking distance so you will never be hungry. Staff at the hotel are super friendly and able to answer any questions you may have. "Location was good, 10 mins walk from Ikebukuro station. Hotel was nice and amenities were good. Only downside was that I had stayed at the Asakusa location right before this and the whole vibe of that place was amazing so this one felt very stark in contrast."

"I enjoyed my stay at Hatoya hotel Ikebukuro. While not glamorous, the room was clean, comfortable and walking distance from the station and the centre of Ikebukuro. It was the perfect place to base myself for a day of sightseeing around Tokyo. The manger and staff were were friendly and helpful. The manager even allowed me to check in when I arrived early which was greatly appreciated. I would definitely consider staying at Hatoya hotel again. "
