The location is amazing.....about 30 min from Portree and in an off the beaton path location which is Heavan. The views are amazing. "We had a lovely stay at Knoydart Cottage, the cottage itself is very homely and the view is spectacular. The kids had a ball exploring the garden, although we encountered a few ticks, so do keep an eye out. The convenience of the Duisdale Hotel literally being next door was great for the nights we couldn't be bothered cooking dinner. A beautiful part of Skye, Armadale Castle down the road is also a must see, fabulous play area for the kids. Highly recommend 👌"

"Everything about this property was amazing. The staff was super friendly and made check in a breeze. The cabin itself was very spacious and comfy. It had everything we would need to make a basic breakfast and a minifridge for supplies for hiking. They also had an amazing restaurant attached to the property with a bar which made for an excellent way to end the night. Will definitely have to come back for another stay. "

"Eoin met us at the drive as the cottar is tucked away. He then proceeded to give us his family background and ideas for visiting. There was a stocked kitchen complete with wine and crackers and a cozy fire crackling when we arrived. The inside is a lot bigger than pictures do it justice and we enjoyed unplugging from life for a few days. The location of the cottar is very convenient to the co op, restaurants and anywhere in the island. Honestly, it was heaven!"

"This was my first time staying in a hostel. It was very well set up. Easy to check in. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the facility. Our room was a bit noisy due to being beside the bathroom but they have rules to keep things quiet during night time hours. We just needed an area to sleep so we did not make use of the other parts of the facility but it looked very well maintained and the shared kitchen area looked very well organized. There was a comfortable variety of ages and everyone was very respectful and quiet."
