"A wonderful stay over before catching the Islay ferry next morning. We loved the common rooms and patios, with other guests ready to meet you and talk. The dining room is a beautiful hlassed-in room with a great view and food. LOVED the local mussels! Our room was in the newer section, comfortable bed and roomy bath. Only complaint was that the bathtub plug wouldn't seal, so I couldn't take a bath. The staff were so accomodating. We would definitely come back again!"

"Functional clean facility with free parking at quayside 50m from the property. Room has lovely view of Loch Fyne. We stayed in Tarbert for 1 night due to the location to catch the ferry to Islay from Kennacraig which is 15 minutes away. Really spacious room and breakfast is delivered in the morning at your specified time you just complete your menu requests the night before. Would certainly stay again if across in this part of idyllic Scotland."

"This is an older property so don’t expect “modern boutique” style accommodation. The room was clean with nice sea view and the bed comfortable. The room was a bit warm (though that was when Scotland was having a bit of a heatwave - so probably not a common problem!). We had dinner in the Restaraunt and it was excellent. The final part of the road to Crinan is quite narrow which, while it adds to the anticipation, could be challenging if you are unlucky to meet a lot of cars on the single...
