The host was very helpful with all my inquiries and was clear and straight to the point on check in and check out. Everything you could possibly need to use while staying here is in this house. "We were two families, French and Scottish, we all had a great time! The location is beautiful, the house was full of unique qualities… the servants bells caused a lot of amusement. Full of character and history. Excellent place for larger groups. Excellent communication regarding keys etc.Had a wonderful lunch at Tayvallin..about 20 minutes away… delicious seafood! No complaints about the house, location or our hosts!! Recommend this lovely house and place! "

"Although I filled in a questionnaire and handed it in at Melfort Village reception when I left I have completed this one as well because I really enjoyed my week there.The weather was lovely and the views to die for. My friends and I had a day on Luing with lunch at the Atlantic Islands Centre which was excellent. Disappointing that the Shower of Herring was closed from Monday.My only complaint was that when I arrived on Saturday Sept.14th in torrential rain and gales there was no heating on...

"This property was on a farm in a stunning location surrounded by great countryside and wildlife. Lovely sandy beaches were within a short drive. All our needs were met in the cottage which was very comfortable and very well equiped. The host was very friendly and helpful as was the rest of the family on the farm.
