I have traveled and worked in Japan for 10 years. This hotel onsen is the finest I have visited. The baths are located in your room, in common areas and in private family baths. There is a very special bath just steps away from the hotel below a WATERFALL, that can only be described as HEAVEN ON EARTH. I will return for another week at this hotel in April. Thank you Expedia for leading me to this magnificent destination.

There are many hotels to choose from in the Kirishima area, but I selected Pulse Kirishima because it's only about a 5-minute drive from Kirishima Jingu, making it a great base for sightseeing. I highly recommend booking a room in the Renovated Wing. We stayed in a Superior Room, and it was well worth it.
