「We had a very brief stay, but we’re very comfortable in the Cosy Cottage. It was well equipped and very clean. The bathroom was small and a bit of a challenge, but we managed. 」

「We loved everything about our stay in Mafeking. The house, the garden and Benenden are all beautiful. Mafeking is a great choice for familys, there are plenty of toys and a lovely playground nearby. We extended our stay because we loved it that much and had a very friendly and accommodating experience with the costumer service. Next summer holiday we will be coming back and are really looking forward to visit Mafeking again. Absolutely recommended.」

「Clean and warm cottage in the center of town, very quirky but a nice environment, it is on one of the few roads running through Rye so does suffer from some traffic noise although not too intrusive. Everything was in order on our arrival so all in all a nice place to stay. 」

「The house was not very clean and is in need of decorating and updatingI did not feel comfortable using the shower due to dirt around tray and in the grout / tilesThe kitchen is looking very old and there were stains on the walls, top of the fridge and inside the cupboard that houses the cooking equipment whilst the cupboard for the plates, cups and glasses is bowed and does not look safe.There were also stains on the washing machine fasciaThe ‘porch’ is also water stained inside 」

「Perfect accommodation for a quiet country getaway, with a very comfortable bed, excellent shower & generally very well equipped, clean & maintained to a high standard. We liked the pretty garden. Were slightly concerned on arrival that it appeared to be in the middle of nowhere but were impressed to discover the excellent Jempsons superstore nearby which has lots of local produce & everything you could possibly need. 「Accommodation was fine though presented some difficulties for elderly, disabled. The couches were low and deep, which meant they had difficulty rising. Likewise the shower over the bath meant it could not be used. Otherwise a very comfortable place with good provision of kitchen needs; comfortable beds; and beautiful countryside.」

「A wonderful 4 nights spent at Romden farm, couldnt have been bette. It was great, just to open the back door and walk for miles with the dogs, come back chill out and relax in the hot tub in the evenings. At the big pond we enjoyed feeding the fish and watching the barn owl hunt at dusk. The barn was clean, comfortable and the perfect place to get away from everything. The owners made us feel so welcome we will definitley be back in the future.」
