Could not believe they supply a coffee machine but no coffee! Only hotel in multiple across Mexico 15 day trip to disappoint. When trying to get coffee for machine told by reception go to dinning room to buy. Dining room told me go to reception or shop! Shop only has instant coffee which is horrible!

Haven Riviera is a lovely, all inclusive resort. The staff are extremely helpful and generous with their time. The pools, to include the swimouts are heated and amazing! The food was pretty good with a nice variety of cuisines to choose from. (Please Note: Set Your Dinner Reservations For The Duration Of Your Stay As Soon As Possible!) The Fitness facility is nice, but limited. If you don't want to be incumbered by others... get their early! The beach, not so much but they try very hard to keep up with the sargassum (seaweed) issues but it is an uphill battle for sure. They offer various evening activities! Highly recommend the Tahani Dinner and Dance... was lots of fun and great performances. If upgrading to the Serenity Club is an option, I would highly encourage it. The additional eating options and pool are worth it!

Unfortunately this wasn’t the best resort or experience. The food wasn’t very good. Especially the buffets, we had a hard time finding something to eat. And the Mexican/taco restaurant wasn’t good at all which was disappointing. My travel companion got sick, we aren’t sure if it was food or the water but be aware! The bars don’t open till 10, and some later than that so it was difficult to find a drink. You can only get water bottles from lobby bar, which no one would be at. Then at night, restaurants are closed and there’s no late night snacks/food/bar available. I believe your only option is room service which is an additional cost. The staff isn’t super helpful or accommodating in any way. We got locked out of our room for hours because the key card reader needed a new battery. This should have been fixed immediately but it wasn’t. We also were not comped in any way. There are not many bathrooms around the resort and they are very small. Wish it was better in many ways. Sadly to say we were displeased.
