Kahili Coast Beachfront Estate 3bd 3ba North Shore Oahu
10/10 Excellent
"Perfect setup for our family of 6. House was very clean and well appointed with a large front and back lawn area and amenities (e.g. hot tub, sauna, beach toys) to make for a great relaxing stay right in the middle of beautiful/quiet Malaekahana Bay. Communication was great with the host - especially through a tsunami scare in the middle of the trip! Would definitely stay again."
Mauka Sunrise, Walk to Hau‘ula Beach & Trails, A/C

"Great house that has just about everything you could want. Tons of beach stuff- snorkels, sand shoes, surf/boogie boards, chairs, cooler, etc. Second fridge outside is clutch for holding groceries, etc.All rooms have AC, it will take some time upon arrival to cool it off if its a hot day but other than that, they were great. The house is in a pretty low key part of the north shore. About a 45-50 minute drive from HNL. There are places on the way to stop for groceries which was nice. Youll be driving for about 10-20 minutes to get to Waimea Bay for instance so expect to drive to see the really nice beaches. The beach that you can walk to from the property is quite small with a decent amount of rocks. Given the choice to go to the beach at the house or drive to a nicer one, we chose to explore and drive to other beaches on the island. The house felt safe. No issues with neighbors or anything at all. There is also a lime tree in the backyard for your use as well as a beautiful tree in the front yard that you can make your own lei with if you bring some floss or string with you.All in all, its a great base camp for your hawaiian adventures!"
"The facilities were OK and relatively liveable EXCEPT:1. There were flies everywhere in the house. This inconvience was known by the owner because there was a fly stick the size of an empty toilet paper roll about 1 ft. high on the kitchen window counter where ants were continually trailing for food. The set of bifold door windows had a sign that said broken, do not use that had a 1/2 " gap in it in the closed position which allowed flies to enter. I must have killed 250-300 flies--"great way to spend part of our vacation."2. The refrigerator did not have ice cubes OR a freezer which worked. We had to buy bags of ice and not have any frozen foods ready to cook. We brought this to the caretaker's attention next door and he said last time this happened 2 years ago it took 3 months to replace the refrigerator.3. The access to the beach/water was limited and the "path" (if you could call it that)was steep and had trip roots in sections that made it extremely difficult for my wife.4. The neighbor's roosters and chickens woke us up at 5:30 -6:00 every day crowing loudly. I understand Oahu has many chickens, but one morning I observed the neighbor feeding the loud roosters. Evidently they are conditioned to be there loud and early."
"Pineapple Perch" | Fully Renovated | A/C in Every Room
8/10 Good
"Beautiful, clean, spacious house that has very comfortably accommodated 7 ppl. It has everything you need to enjoy your vacation. Kitchen is fully equipped with essentials. Beach chairs, umbrellas, etc are available for use. AC in every room is amazing and provide great noise reduction as the roosters will wake you up bright and early. Very limited outside space (no backyard to sit or hang out at night). "
"This was an absolutely wonderful experience for my wife and myself. The tents were neat and simple, the restrooms were clean and the location was scenic and serene. I’d leave more stars if I could! Thank you so much to the host."
