"The staff were brilliant and made our stay so enjoyable. Food was excellent both for the breakfast and evening meal. Our Room was cleaning and comfortable with a nespresso machine, premium teabags and fresh milk available from a fridge in the landing were welcome additions. The pub felt warm and cosy was festooned with lovely Christmas decorations. "Clean room, comfortable bed, excellent shower, superb service where nothing was too much trouble. good menu choice for evening meals - the lasagna was absolutely excellent with a great side salad and the best chips I've had for ages. The draught beer was great and not over priced .... all in all, to be recommended!"

"We came to visit family who live nearby in the village, so it was very convenient to stay at the Red Lion. The apartment was great, the super-king-sized bed was very comfortable with lovely cotton sheets, and there was a great shower. Staff were very friendly and the apartment block is a short walk from the pub, so it is private and quiet. Would definitely stay again . "
