「Great hotel and friendly staff. Fantastic central location for visiting Bamburgh, Lindisfarne, seahouses and Alnwick. Food was great, especially the breakfasts. Comfortable room overlooking farmland with Bamburgh castle in the distance. We stayed for 3 nights and will definitely come back at some point.」

Unfortunate for anyone on the courtyard side still asleep that the recycle lorry emptied all the glass bins at 07:50. But would return. Kelso itself lovely place too. 」

「Every where in the hotel was very clean and well presented, the dining room was spacious and comfortable, breakfasts were amazing. The bar was also good and although we didn't eat the food looked good. The hotel and bar are very dog friendly. Everyone was warm and welcoming, we really enjoyed our stay. If in the area we would definitely stay here again」
「Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. 」
