「A lovely little stay at a nice property. Breakfast was very much appreciated. There is no washer/dryer facilities for laundry at this property, only washing drying of scuba suits.」

「The room was fantastic with a bay window high up overlooking the street. It was well furnished with a very comfortable bed and we had a great nights sleep. The only downside was the bathroom which was 'compact' (not really a problem) but the shower did not work well in that that it never got beyond just above cold and had a miserable trickle of water. We spoke to staff before leaving and they were appalled that this had happened and were going to get it looked at. Overall, very happy to stay...

「Perfect for central Berwick 」

「This is an excellent well-run hotel. Our room (and all the others, I guess) has been modernsed to a very high standard in recent years. Everything has been done well, with great attention to detail. The restaurant has a very good, reasonably priced menu. It is clearly very popular. Without exception, the staff were excellent. Congratulations to everyone involved in the redevelopment of the hotel!」

「Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. 」

「Friendly helpful staff, lovely breskfast & other food options. Also shop selling gifts but also some handy household items. Would really recommend.」

「The property was lovely with views over the countryside. Room was clean and quiet.The breakfast was good with plenty of variety. Was looked after very well by the host. The reason people stay there is to visit the magnificent Bamburgh Castle overlooking the North Sea. Altogether well worth a stay」
