「Lovely room, large bathroom. Clean with everything you need for a few nights stay . In the middle of Wooler , next to cafes and pubs . I went to walk the Cheviots which are only a short drive away.」

「The room was spacious and well furnished. The fabric covered headboard made a real impact as you walked in. The bathroom was sparklingly clean. Real thought had gone into what makes guests feel at home and what utensils they would need to prepare food if necessary. The wine glasses were a nice touch! There was even a breakfast bar where you could sit and look out over the street. Plentiful supply of electric plugs (so useful when you have phones and iPads etc.) Check-in worked perfectly...

「Lovely hotel with excellent pub attached, particularly good for a drink but also served good food. Breakfast was also very good, and packed lunches are can be bought for anyone on a hiking trip if you arrange this the evening before」

「The room was clean. The window did not have a safety latch and was next to the single child’s bed and was not safe, so had to keep the window closed on a very hot evening. We ordered 2 steak and frites and was advised the sauce would come in a gravy boat separately. It did not and was obvious that it was spread over the meat to hide the fat on the meat I complained to the staff and was told they had changed butchers. No offer of a reduction on the meal was disappointing as it was basically fat...

「Lovely stay at one of the lodges. Spa facilities are great. Food was so good in Charlies. We had a great time.」

「Excellent stay overall. Our courtyard room was small but had everything we needed. The spa was a standout - loved the outdoor heated pool and sauna. Dinner at the bistro was excellent as was breakfast. It is expensive but worth it for a night or two getaway」
