"shuttle was easy from hotel to airport. I did not know how to get shuttle from airport to hotel. Instructions/details would be useful when booking"

"This hotel was further from Cochem than we hoped for. I booked two rooms for one night at least four months in advance requesting large windows that open. We got one room with a very tiny window only, and one room with a medium size window. The staff was very nice and apologized for not meeting my request saying "they didn't know how this happened". The hotel was full that weekend. At least the windows opened. Also, our room had a terrible smell. Apparently, the drain pipe in the middle of the bathroom floor was the culprit. The lady at the desk poured some cleaner down the drain with a few buckets of water. We then covered the drain with a towel and went to the store to get a car scent hanger to place on top. We went to the restaurant for dinner and waited an hour and a half for our meal. They were very busy that night and apparently not prepared for the weekend (May Day). The meal was nice in spite of the wait. The most positive aspect of our experience was the woman at the desk who tried her best to fix things for us. "

"This is a wonderful hotel set on a hill next to the vineyards … family run, their attention to detail shone everywhere. Check-in was pleasant and efficient. Our room was large and clean, as was the up-to-date bathroom attached. We had a small balcony off our room that was perfect to sit with a cold drink after arrival (though there are plenty of additional welcoming spots both inside and outside the hotel). We have enjoyed a fabulous dinner that evening in their on-site restaurant- the stuffed zucchini was one of the best vegetarian dishes I’ve ever had and the white asparagus was amazing. Breakfast was also quite good and the staff did an excellent job keeping everything filled and tables cleaned. Highly recommend!"

Step outside to gentle walking paths and open sky that invite you to slow down and reconnect with nature. A simple, beautiful escape. Deutsch Das Berghotel Kristall wirkt vom ersten Moment an beruhigend, eingebettet in eine ruhige Landschaft mit weitem Blick. Die Einrichtung ist warm und durchdacht, mit sanftem Licht, gemütlichen Sitzbereichen und einladenden Rückzugsorten. Große Fenster lassen viel Tageslicht herein und verstärken die entspannte Atmosphäre. Die Mahlzeiten sind einfach und gut, im Bistro-Stil serviert.
