"It was a good hotel."

"Iconic hotel but on arrival the pool and the outside restaurants were closed due to the areas being taken over for a private party. Would have been good to have been notified in advance about this as it was a weekend. Very loud after party until the early hours for the new Michael film. Again no communication about this. Staff wonderful and if you can get a cabana room then it is a superb hotel. The main block rooms are nothing overly special. Not as good as my last stay."

"We had a good stay overall and the property worked very well for our family of five. We were given two connected rooms, which was a great setup for us. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious, with two queen beds in one room and one king bed in the other, plus separate bathrooms, which made the stay especially convenient for a family. Parking was easy and convenient, and the location was excellent for visiting Universal Studios Hollywood—only about a 6-minute drive away. There are also several small restaurants within walking distance. A few areas could be improved. The only elevator serving the second and third floors was quite slow and felt more like a service/freight elevator. There was no breakfast offered, and the lobby amenities were minimal, with only a small coffee station and no comfortable seating area, so it did not feel especially welcoming as a common space. Overall, the clean connected rooms, convenient parking, and great location made this a solid choice for families visiting the area."

"We have been coming to this hotel for many years and have noticed a positive change in the customer service. Well done! We very much appreciated the free continental breakfast. If I had to make one adjustment it would be for stronger coffee. The coffee in the room is much better than downstairs. Room was clean. We used the fridge a lot and wished it was a little bigger. The hotel is across the street from a supermarket and walkable to so many restaurants that a slightly bigger fridge would be great for a few essentials or takeaway. These are very minor “complaints”. We highly recommend this hotel. They have made some great improvements over the years and again, the friendly staff really upgraded our experience."
