"We stayed in a standard hot tub room. It was nicely presented and comfortable with a lovely view of the lake from the hottub. The hot tub was so relaxing we went in 3 times even though we only stayed one night. The bathroom had a jacuzzi bath and a small seperate shower which seemed strange with a hot tub as well. It would have been better with a larger shower without the bath. The shower tray had quite a lot of black mold around it which there really is no excuse for, we reported this to reception along with the faulty hairdryer, hopefully these issues have been sorted for the next guests. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and the staff worked hard to make sure we had what we needed. Our steaks were not cooked to our liking at first but this was quickly rectified for us. We didnt have breakfast so can't comment on that. Unfortunately, we wouldnt stay here again as we have some mobility issues and there are a lot of steps and no lift but that is down to our circumstances. Overall a lovely experience."

"Everything about our stay was excellent;- great views of the lake from the veranda- wonderful accommodation- top quality beddingInitially I did think it was expensive, however, since being there I with family, we all agreed it was a bargain, everything about the stay reeked of quality. Will definitely be back (if we can find a slot, because it is almost fully booked over the year) and hopefully it will be an annual booking.Steve"

"Throughly enjoyed our stay as a family with our dog! Staff were super friendly and so helpful and inviting. The location is great with a beautiful view of the lake. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and would definitely recommend and the breakfast was really tasty. Beds really comfortable and clean! Room has everything you need. Will be back for sure!"

"Fantastic location, staff were extremely friendly and helpful upon checking in. We had a cosy sea view room which was clean. Bathroom was clean, however was really small. Lots of choices for breakfast, from a full English, fruit, cereal and pastries. Bar area was relaxing. It is only card payments when buying drinks from the bar."

The welcome was super friendly , the room lovely and clean, breakfast was amazing with wait lovely staff and the views were incredible. Sitting in the garden with a coffee was so serene . "Top quality hotel in a brilliant location, absolutely loved it here. We didn’t find a better bar to have a drink in or a better restaurant to eat in, all perfect… with a wonderful view over the lake too! The leisure facilities really helped too, the pool was a proper pool you could actually swim in! My only (very slight) observation might be that it did look a bit tired in places, with a bit of paint peeling off here and there."
