This beautiful and very private holiday home is set on a peaceful little farm surrounded by native bush with panoramic wide open views. Sit back, relax and enjoy some quiet days away in this spacious and tastefully furnished studio providing you with a fully equipped kitchen, powerful rain head shower, super comfortable bed and free unlimited wifi. Within 10 minutes drive you find the most beautiful white sandy Pauanui Beach. Opoutere Beach and Te Karo Bay are only 15 minutes away. Hot Water Beach where you can dig your own natural spa pool and Cathedral Cove are 40 minutes drive from us. Supermarket, Shops, Cafes, Restaurants and Galleries you find in Tairua, Pauanui (10 minutes) and Whangamata (20 minutes). The perfect base for exploring the Coromandel Peninsula. Puketui Valley and Broken Hills Gorge are a tranquil holiday hideaway in a picturesque setting. There are many great hiking trails in front of our doorstep. The famous Collins Drive Bush Walk where you could walk through a historic gold mining tunnel and see glowworms is an absolute highlight. From the summit of this walk you have a breathtaking view over the Puketui Valley, the Coromandel Forest Park and the pacific ocean in the distance. There are two waterholes very close by were you could swim in the crystal clear water of the Tairua River. We live a good distance away from the studio and are there for you if you need anything.
