「The location was absolutely brilliant as it's so central although be aware that this is a lively pub so if you want a quiet stay it's maybe not for you. I went with a friend and we loved every minute, so much so that we're going to make it a yearly visit. Our rooms were clean with very comfortable beds, the staff are, without exception, super friendly, as is the Manager. We can definitely recommend the breakfast as it's wonderful!」

「We stayed for 2 nights in the family room which had a lovely comfortable king size bed, ensuite with large walk in shower and air con which was a God send. Very clean and quiet. The staff are lovely, food and drinks reasonably priced, breakfast choices good. The beer garden needs some attention but is secure if you have children or a dog. 「Lovely comfortable stay. Charming and vibrant village pub with good selection of beers and a good meal. Room was clean and comfortable. Only downside was it was quite hot at night time and the window didnt open much. A fan was provided in the room so Im guessing this is a regular thing. Would definitely recommend though.」
