"I had the misfortune to arrive by bus from Managua on a rainy day. I thus had difficulty in finding the Hostal. When I did, at aout 7 pm, the person at the reception did not even ask to identify me, and I was led to a room with a window giving on the corridor, a small old sink giving only a tiny fillet or water, etc. Only cold water, but that seems to be general in San Juan. I eventually got used to all these "perks"..."

"Beautiful home with amazing views of the ocean. There was ample room for all thirteen of us. The driveway and parking was quite challenging. Getting to the beach was difficult, as you had to balance over large rocks. The caretakers were very helpful and willing to help with problems that came up. There were a number of general maintenance issues that needed attention."
"Loved our stay here. We actually extended the stay we liked it so much. Clean, safe and excellent location. Industrial fans kept us very comfortable to sleep. The water pressure from the shower was amazing and strong. The location to Playa Remanso Beach is a 1 minute walk. To San Juan Del Sur it is barely a 10 minute ride on motorcycle. Playa Hermosa is not even a 10 minute ride on motorcycle. The staff and owner are very kind. We will definitely stay here again."
"Lots of stairs to walk down the cabin, needs lighting. It was super dark and very unsafe for us at night. Super deep. There were lot of ants and bugs walking around the place. Please be aware of security cameras looking at you, no privacy. With was one of the reasons that I booked this one. Breakfast was late and very simple. No parking lot. Other than that is ok."
