"From the outside it seems like a nice place to stay. Dive a little deeper and it just isn’t. My room smelled and had older carpet. My toilet did not flush. The laundry room was coin-operated with no change machine, and the desk only had $1 in quarters, “go to town” they said. Breakfast was of poor quality. The eggs were powdered eggs, juice machine had watered down juice, sausage was poor quality and was not browned on the outside; must have been microwaved, and only a small variety of breads. The staff was not very helpful and the owner was a hothead. I had a 3 day reservation. I get a call from the owner at about noon and he asked if I was checking out. I said that I had another day to my stay and that he should check his records and call me back. He calls back immediately and calls me a foul name. I hung up the phone and headed downstairs. Before I got to the room’s door the phone was ringing again. When the elevator doors opened there he was. He said “Get out. I want you out.” I tried to calm him down and tried to figure out what was happening. All he could do was yell and scream. He disappeared into the back. I waited several minutes for him to reappear. Then he said that I haven’t paid for 3 nights and my reservation was for 3 nights. I asked to see and he showed me. I checked my bank account and sure enough the clerk only charged me for 2 nights. Now it all made sense. I told him that all he had to do was tell me that to start with. Never again!"
