「I was not able to access the property because I was never sent details on how to enter. It’s my fault for not remembering to check before landing but I still thinks it’s pretty poor service not to have sent me confirmation details, including access, to my email 24-72 hours before arrival. I landed in Helsinki on a Saturday and when I tried to call for assistance, no one picked up the phone and there was no voice mail or messaging service available. In the end I just rented another hotel...

「We got a bit of a bait and switch by 2ndhomes + we paid for a 1BR apartment and ended up with a studio. This isn't a vacation rental company, so communication with them is only during business hours, but they provided very clear and easy to follow arrival instructions. I was also double charged by both hotels.com and 2ndhomes for the stay, so that needs to be resolved now. The apartment was nice and good value for money, but I wouldn't recommend 2ndhomes as a vacation rental, they're better...

「The pictures on hotels.com didn’t match the actual apartment. It was disgusting. The beds, walls and the couch had a lot of stains. There was a lot of mold and damp in the apartment, especially in the bathroom, you could smell already opening the door. The WiFi wasn’t working either. We didn’t really use the apartment cause it was so nasty, so we didn’t experience Helsinki, but went to Tallin instead.」

「Overall the apartment was in a great part of the city and close to lots of shopping and restaurants. Did not have A/C or a fan so it got hot at night. Shower is a bit small even for a regular size person.」
