「The room had a bad smell, like someone had been smoking. The smell was very strong in the bathroom area. I asked to be moved to another room; there was nothing else available.」

「Unfortunately we were disappointed. We have been traveling for over a week and don’t generally stay in an hotel that costs this much, but thought we would treat ourselves. 「Pool and hot tub were out of commission.」

「My only complaint was the coffee service was at 0700. The next time I stay in Helena I would love to stay here again. I have usually stayed right off the freeway and this is the first time I have ever, in 50 years, ever stayed downtown. The rooms were very nice and the front desk person was very helpful and friendly. There is a microwave so next time I will bring a package of instant coffee. Highly recommend staying here.」

「It was a fairy tale experience. It was gorgeously decorated with antiques and spotlessly clean. The owner is very gracious and made us feel welcome. We had a full course homemade breakfast which was delicious. The room was spacious with lovely antiques, but still modern enough for air conditioning and a private bathroom. Can’t recommend this place highly enough. Can’t wait for our next visit!」
