"Our trip began by being locked out of the property. VRBO app access code for the key was incorrect.To contact the host only a land line was provided…she was not home. After check out we received messages about everything from how many towels we used to a rickety piece of furniture that fell apart. Then a fraudulent charge on our credit card. 0/10, would not recommend. Not to mention the house sounds like it must be mere feet from the train tracks with blaring horns. Super nice to wake up to at 4am"

"The cabin was super clean and cozy. Both the living room and the bathroom are very spacious with thoughtful decorations.The location is remote and safe but not far from the city center. The pickleball court is a nice addition even though we didn't have time to try it. We will not hesitate to stay here again."

"Thank you again for hosting us. I wanted to share some feedback about the space, as we ran into several maintenance issues during our stay that impacted the overall experience. I hope this is helpful so future guests can enjoy the home fully.Air Conditioner: The unit blows cold air, but the blower only seems to have one speed and doesn’t circulate properly. The vent/air diverter that should move the air in different directions also isn’t working. Because of this, the room never cooled evenly.Leveling Issues: It also seems like the unit may not be level—items roll off the counter easily, and some doors and cabinets don’t stay closed on their own.TV Cabinet Doors: The doors to the TV don’t stay open; they swing closed immediately, which makes it difficult to use the TV comfortably.Flooring: There are several areas where the floor is broken or soft, which doesn’t feel safe and could become a bigger issue if not repaired.Blinds: The blinds are oversized for the window and difficult to operate, and they don’t provide enough privacy, especially at night.We really love the concept of the container home, but these issues made the stay feel less like a five-star experience. "The chickadee treehouse was amazing! We stayed for 3 nights and wish we would have booked a longer trip. The treehouse is exactly how it is advertised. Such a cute and wonderful experience. It’s about 15 minutes from Waco and about 1hr & 30 minutes from Fort Worth stockyards. The treehouse is clean and well stocked. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area. "

"The Cardinal at Waco Creekside Cabins was absolutely adorable! The cabin was very comfortable, spotless, and reasonably priced. The hosts were friendly and responded quickly anytime we needed something. It truly felt like a hidden gem.
