"Lovely property but some improvements needed. We really enjoyed our stay in this house which is so near the river, park, Bishy Rd and central York. The property does need some serious talc especially paintwork, outside space and some of the basics provided such as only one tea towel for a 10 day stay. The information for the house needs some updating also. It states there is a washer/dryer but it isn’t it is just a washer and doesn’t mention a dishwasher which the kitchen does have. Overall we...

"Excellent location. Friendly staff. Our room was great for our 4 person family and the view or the river from our room was lovely. The only thing I would mention about our room, specifically number 336, was that there was a hole near one of the baseboards and it looked like it needed a bit of TLC."

"Lovely hotel in a perfect location. I booked this hotel for a special occasion and the staff did a fantastic job to make us feel welcome and special. "Staff friendly and efficient, despite having a large but very well behaved french school party. My double room was "cozy" and would have been a squeeze for two people with 18 in bed/wall clearance one side and 30 in bed/sloping wall the other. Ok for single occupation. Access to the room was a maze."
