The rooms at Porters are beautifully kept, spacious and with ample amenities. The location is excellent and our suite was superb for our family. Staff at Porters are always a highlight - going out of their way to help and make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The surroundjng area is loaded with dining options and is a short drive to surrounding cellar doors and scenic spots that Hawke's Bay has to offer. We will be back for our third stay in April 2026!

This is a lovely hotel, with beautiful rooms and is conveniently located with shops, cafes, restaurants and a supermarket all within two blocks. The staff are very friendly and helpful delivering superb service. I’ll be back!

This is a beautiful hotel, and located in the heart of a the lovely town center of Havelock North. Great restaurant in the hotel as well and wonderful options near by. The staff were very customer service oriented, and were a great help with organizing our wine tour. I'd highly recommend Porters Boutique Hotel for anyone visiting the Hawkes Bay area

Wonderful

Such great front of house staff. Well trained, Attentive and friendly. Great spot for weekend away. Nice room, Malo resteraunt next door is top notch, walking distance to great places to eat and drink.

Great hotel in a great location.

Had a great stay. Room was very nice and staff were lovely. They had excellent underground parking that was free and are in an area with lots of restaurants and shopping. Havelock North is a great little town. My only suggestion is that they do away with the free guest laundry. The dryers don’t work well and that situation led to bad feelings between guests. I saw numerous conflicts. Better they don’t offer it at all.
