"The inn is more of a bar/restaurant than a traditional inn. So the host of the restaurant was also the person checking us in and showing us to our room. We showed up at 6pm which was probably the worst time to show up for the staff. The bed was comfortable if a little soft, pillows were perfect. The AC was just right. We were in Room 2 which is in the oldest part of the inn. The bathroom had a step down and the light switch was near the basin so not ideal in the dark. Although the place was spotless and towels were nice, the bathroom could use updating. The inn is charming but the bedroom wasn’t furnished and decorated in a way that reflects that. Maybe the inn is a new idea and renovations are to come. I hope so as it really is a lovely property. Waking up to hydrangeas outside the window and the sun streaming into the bathroom was lovely. We would definitely stay here again."

"Charming little inn. Room was cute and comfortable. Bed was comfy. AC worked well. Nice to have a big shower and larger than a normal mini fridge. Host was able to let us check in early which was great. We also spent a few hours at the pool which was clean and the temperature was perfect. Also very convenient to have a parking spot right outside the room. With so many expensive hotels in the area, this is a great comfortable option at a great value."

"The Bride of the Sea estate in Harwich Port is everything and more a family could want for a vacation getaway! From the beautifully updated historic home with so many nooks and crannies to explore, to the expansive outdoor activities to participate in, our family of thirteen enjoyed every moment! Tennis court, playground, swimming pool, secluded garden with a fountain and more, would have been more than enough, but when you add visits to other towns in Cape Cod, biking adventures, and seal watching, this was truly the best for core family memories. My husband and I shared the garage apartment a short walk across the driveway, and there was a pool house we didn’t use, that was lovely as well. If you’re blessed with a large family and are looking for a place to go and all be together, The Bride of the Sea is ideal!"

"The rooms have a bit of a smell, not outrageous, probably due to age and the amount of exposed wood. Beach proximity is great, right out the back door. The building is on a small footprint and parking is extremely tight. Breakfast was o.k. The quiche was really good, muffins and croissant were also good. Pretty much continental as stated. Easy walking distance to the town of Harwich. The rooms do not face the beach unless you’re on the second floor. There were 2 rooms that faced the beach. We would go back due to the closeness to the beach."

"We had an absolutely fantastic stay in Harwich Port! The unit itself was literally brand new—everything was pristine, modern, and incredibly clean. You couldn't ask for a better location, right on Main Street with so many great shops and restaurants just steps from the front door. We also loved that making the trip over to Mayflower Beach was an easy, very doable drive. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a perfect Cape Cod getaway!"
