"The owner and staff member were very helpful the actual decor of the property is well beyond it's best before date the whole property is very tired. Our room shower drain was blocked upon arrival which meant we couldn't shower for 24 hours not good in 30 degree heat."

"Lovely little room with everything you might want … and nice bathroom which was much bigger than expected. Very convenient for visiting our daughter in Earlsfield and quiet overnight. We can recommend the cafe downstairs for a healthy breakfast "

"Our three-day trip wouldn’t have been the same if we didn’t stay here! The owners are beautiful people and they were great hosts, they gave us all the information needed to enjoy our stay! Plus the Orange room was beautiful and with all the amenities needed for two people
On the other side, if, like us, you going to a concert in the O2, this place it’s perfect and also really well connected to the rest of the city by the Victoria line!"

"The best capsule I have stayed in London. It’s brand new and hope it continues to be well maintained. Gender specific toilets and showers which is perfect. Stairs to the top bunk are awkward so you have to be careful, one wrong move and it’s a wrap! Great communal area, wish there was more seating and also couldn’t locate luggage room on my stay, maybe this need better signage."
"We loved our stay at Strand however I was incredbily disappointed when my flight was delayed and I have decided to pay for an extra night since I was arriving on the red eye and couldnt check in until 3. When I arrived at 9 they told me they considered me a no show. They gave me a room and told me bo problem… only yo charge me 265 for a no show fee. I was not told this when I checked in. After dealing witg a nasty front desk manager .. we were met by the hotel manager who assured us this would be removed. That should have been done from the start . There was no reason to get all upset for this. They need to fix this policy"
"The hotel location was great. Very easy to use tube or buses. All the staff were excellent. The room was adequate, but there was a noisy, intrusive air-con unit which we needed all night. The wardrobe doors were ill-fitting and storage space was limited. Excellent supply of hot water, and a good shower. Evening eating was disappointing - very poor quality in the bar or asian food in an unappealing restaurant, so we ate well nearby. The large bar was great for watching the World Cup. Breakfast was very good, but more variety in the fruit salad would be nice. Cups and glasses were too small."
"The location of this hotel is what draws people there. The rooms are small, but you are in the location for the sites, not to stay in the room. It is a very busy hotel. The lobby is always busy. It is currently undergoing renovations, which makes the lobby look even smaller. The staff are very helpful, but we found that the housekeeping was lacking. We had run out of tissues, toilet paper, and towels. The room we were in got sun all day long (and the summer days in London are very long), so we had to keep the curtains drawn to help keep the room cooler because the air conditioners did not go lower than 72 degrees F. The food was delicious, the drinks were delightful, the staff very friendly, and the view beautiful! I would definitely stay there again."
"Great service at the busy reception and a complementary room upgrade which was a lovely surprise after travelling. Great location and fantastic visit to Chino Latino restaurant."
