"Outstanding hotel, nice location though a little out of the way as you’d expect with the name. Rooms were tremendous, huge and very comfortable…would definitely return "
"Lovely clean fresh room.
Everything you need for a stay, there was fresh milk, juice, bread, butter., jam in the fridge ready for breakfast. Toaster and microwave in the room too. Plus tea and coffee "
"Super room, spacious quirky, huge tin bath which we both enjoyed, seperately I might add. Good sized bathroom with shower. The only issue was not cleanliness but dust in the room. I'm not saying it hadn't been dusted but there was dust flying around that settled on surfaces. Perhaps it's the nature of the room we were in but be aware if you are dust sensitive that may be an issue for you. There is an outside area with hot tub which we did not use. The food was really good, excellent choice at breakfast and dinner, every meal was cooked to a good standard. Overall service was good with a couple of exceptions. You can tell someone who has worked in establishments like this for a while. They are able to deal with people and have an air of confidence in managing situations, even difficult ones. The Immaculate Pig has a few of these types who were excellent, unfortunatley the one we encountered at dinner on the first night who wasn't. Initially she advised there was no booking for us, as we had booked at check in we knew there was. On being shown to a table we were given menus but not advised about the specials board which we only discovered later. The water we asked for didn't materialise and our order taken in an unprofessional manner. A slight issue was the bar after our meal. The first night it was fine but the second raucous and noisy as it is open to the public, we would have preferred a quiet reidents area. Overall we would have no hesitation in returning though."
"Beautiful property in a fantastic location. So many amenities on your doorstep, lots of dining options. Property is close to many attractions in the area, would definitely stay here again,"
