The room was spotless, and the staff were outstanding, genuinely some of the kindest and most welcoming people I’ve met. This was easily one of the best stays I had in Vietnam, and the hotel is located in a great, safe area.

The hotel oozes old charm and the staff were amazing. The rooms were incredibly loud though once people were up, which is generally around 6am daily. The sound travels painfully clearly from room to room and via the corridors. This wasn't really ideal for someone that doesn't particularly enjoy getting up at the crack of dawn and wassuffering with jetlag.

The staff at Hotel du Parc are excellent and attentive to all our needs. The facilities in the hotel are great. Hanoi is still developing a modern transport system and walking around is a bit awkward but the taxis are very cheap and this makes it easy to overcome these deficiencies.

A bit old but well maintained hotel in a great place to visit including railway road coffee shops. Staff is friendly but housekeeping was below expectations. Don't worry that's the standard in most of countries in Asia. I asked a staff whether it is safe to walk on my own at night, and he said "yes, absolutely safe" and let me know how to get to the convenient store. On the way, a grab bike guy was calling me "hey pretty" many times while following me in where no one around, Later on, a car approached to me asking to show the city around.. it was quite scary around midnight. No matter what the local says, it does not apply to you and stay safe!

All the staff are friendly and can speak Japanese, so you can feel at ease. There is a supermarket nearby. It is convenient because it is open from 7:30 to 22:00.

Worth staying a little bit out of the Old Quarter

A little bit further out of the French cord than what I would’ve liked but easy to just take a quick cab down to the center. Rooms were comfortable spacious and clean. We really did enjoy our stay breakfast was good. Definitely recommend staying here.

Wound up staying for many more days than expected and can’t say enough about how nice a stay it was. Hotel du Parc was a sanctuary of peace and be calm in the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. Far enough from the Old Quarter to get a feel for real Hanoi. The staff, from the doorman, to housekeepers and staff in the executive lounge all were wonderful and helpful in ensuring I was comfortable both at the hotel and in Hanoi in general.
