「Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect.」

「We had a lovely stay at the Royal Oak. Hannah was extremely helpful and was quick to respond when i accidentally deleted the message with the keycode! The room was extremely comfortable and clean. 「Are warm and friendly welcome on arrival. Our room was large and had all the comforts we needed good selection of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits large bed lovely clean and soft towels. It’s a 15th century building with flipping floors low ceilings etc but that just added to the charm. We had a drink in the bar and it was clearly a pub used by the locals who made us feel welcome.
