"This is a beautiful property. There is a minor inconvenience that escalators to the onsen and pool are under construction but the elevator works. The natural hot spring baths are amazing and numerous. There are both dry and steam saunas. The grandkids had a great time in the pool with a water slide and played with other children. We had ryokan style rooms with tatami mats making this experience very traditional. The location is very convenient."

"We were very pleased with the location, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful everywhere. The building isn’t brand new but it’s well kept and clean. In fact I was expecting something a bit more old fashioned after looking on the Expedia listing. Overall a very nice time with a beautiful view of Lake Toya wherever you go! "

"The hotel is at the beginning of the town. It is across from the bus terminal to get to the station or Date Jidaimura. It's actually a 5 min walk to a 7-11 but can't tell from there. The workers will always willing to help with calling cabs. Compassionate when I had my 10 yr old daughter and they let me add her to my reservation for around 5000 yen with my 12 yr old son and did NOT charge us 17000 yen like a nearby hotel did. Enjoyed the onsen. Iron, salt, sulfur, etc baths. I love the outside one."

"Open air onsen was fantastic. Hotel was right by the foot onsen trail. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Front desk staff spoke english well."

"Quiet hotel which is far from toya station. Need to take bus from toya station to toyako onsen bus terminal and another bus to hotel. Room is big (quadruple room) and faces lake toya. Upon check out, receptionist recommended walking to toyako onsen bus terminal but due to heavy snow we were stranded halfway and has to take a taxi to toya station about 10 minutes away for 26000 yen. Lake toya is beautiful but unfortunately we booked the wrong hotel."

"First time to Noboribitsu and it was great. It deep down in the mountains in its own little town. Definitely would have to take a bus or taxi in to get to the town"
