Luxury Beach House near Downtown Main Street Half Moon Bay

Home was completely remodeled and updated in 2019. Gorgeous Ocean Views and Sunsets from most rooms. If you’re not looking at the Ocean the Montara Mountains are a great second option. Ideal location offering access to beach, Coastal trail and Downtown Half Moon Bay. where you will find shops, dining and bicycle rentals. Stroll on the beach or hike amongst the Redwoods.
4.2 miles North to the Pillar Point Harbor where you can rent kayaks and stand-up paddle boards. The Harbor offers a variety of restaurants and activities as well. Here you can rent kayaks, stand-up paddle boards or surfboards at the well-known Mavericks Surf Shop. For Beach Front dining visit Miramar Beach House or the more famous Sam's Chowder House. Travel 3.8 miles South to The Ritz Carlton and two world class golf courses. At Sunset the Bagpiper strolls the property. If golf is in your plans the driving range is located directly behind our house. Quicker to walk then drive:).

Spring break getaway was perfect!

Our stay at Half Moon Bay was wonderful - we had our family of 6 adults and 2 children for 4 nights and loved the home. It has 2 kid sized beds and lots of kids books and toys. The beds are super comfy, the kitchen is amazing with every tool you would need, and the heated toilet seats were a nice surprise! We are an active family, so having the walking trail and beach within a 2 minute walk from the house was perfect. Great time in one of the nicest VRBO's we've ever rented. Thanks!

Fabulous Family Get Together in Half moon Bay!

What a beautiful home with fantastic access to the beach in Half Moon Bay. Lots of room for our east and west coast family members including our family newest member who is 17 months old. Everything we needed for the baby was available and the kitchen was very well stocked with essentials and great cook ware for meals at home. Home was super clean. Rich and Leslie were great to work with from booking to check out. We use VRBO often when traveling and can’t say enough good things about our overall experience at this property.

Beautiful house, close to the beach

Loved the well-equipped, comfortable home in a perfect Half Moon Bay location. Owner was very responsive, committed to our group having a wonderful weekend. The short walk to the beach with great sunsets and the front yard fire pit were highlights. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time. This is a beautiful and comfortable home. We cooked dinner and found more than everything we needed. I will be staying here again. All of us raved about our stay in the way home.

Family gathering

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Rich & Leslie’s home. From start to finish everything exceeded our expectations. The communication before and during our stay was smooth and super prompt making the booking process and stay hassle free. Their home is extraordinary, immaculate and welcoming. The location is superb and the amenities were top notch. Our experience was nothing short of amazing. We’re going to book a week in summer 2025!

Paradise in half moon bay

Wow. Location location location. What a wonderful house In half moon bay. Beautifully appointed house. Awesome owners were available to help with anything. The family loved the proximity to the beach and half moon bay Main Street. The pictures don't do this place justice as to how big it is. Would stay here again ASAP

Great way to spend the New Year!

Three couples getting away to celebrate the new year and we couldn’t have picked a better house! Long walks on the beach and great bike rides on fun trails. We loved cooking in the large kitchen that had it all and we enjoyed many nearby restaurant recommendations from the host! We enjoyed the fire pit and playing games at the nice dining table. My husband had work to do one day and set himself up at the bedroom desk and he commented the desk even had stamps in the drawer! Beautiful and very comfortable place with lots of attention to the details!. We hope to return soon! Thank you.

Wonderful place for a weekend getaway

My friends and I (6 women) stayed here for a weekend and had a wonderful time. It's in a quiet neighborhood just a few minutes walk to the coastal trail/beach and ~10 minute walk or 3 minute drive to downtown. Parking is plentiful. The house was comfortably furnished, and we appreciated the gigantic dining table for meals as well as the large comfy couch that could fit all of us comfortably. The house has 2 firepits (one out front, one out back). The beds were comfortable, and we all had a wonderful relaxing time. I'll definitely be back.

San Francisco Bay Area Recommendation

This vacation rental was an exceptional stay for our family of 6 adults and an infant. The online listing is accurate. The home provides modern amenities and decor throughout a comfortable, spacious, attractive, and clean living area. The kitchen and linens are well stocked. Beds are comfortable with updated bathrooms. Other items such as quality beach chairs for 6 adults and extra beach towels were also available. The outside fire pit is an enjoyable addition. The home is just a short and easy stroll to the beautiful coastal beaches, walking/biking paths, and overlook benches of Half Moon Bay. The owners were accommodating and easy to reach by phone/text. This property is highly recommended.

What a beautiful house in a great area

Four of us came from Las Vegas to golf Half Moon Bay's Ocean Course and their Old Course. We booked the House based on the pictures and location. They had just put it on VRBO so there weren't any reviews at that time. Great communication prior to us getting on the flight as to the check in. We arrived, opened the front door and the "Wows" started coming out of our mouths. What a great rehab job the owners did. They live in an ADU at the back of the property when the house is being rented out. If you run into either of them you'll immediately be struck with how friendly they are. If you don't see them you would never know they were there. They have a "Welcome to the House" notebook which answers every question you might have. It was by far the best instructions I've ever seen in any house I've ever rented. The house is stunning. The neighborhood is stunning. When you leave you'll be thinking about how fast you can come back. 10 out of 10 on every level. DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK THIS HOUSE!!!

Everything You Need and Want

This is the perfect place to bring the family! The house is amazing and stocked with everything you could need. The kids found toys to play with and we brought bucket golf to practice in the back yard. The beach is a 5 minute walk from the house. We love this place. I already booked it for next year!

Great home, hosts and location. We had a family reunion, 6 of us, and there was more than enough room for everyone to be together or to find a corner to be alone. We had a wonderful weekend… and it was well supported by the beautiful, comfortable and perfectly located home. My grandkids were very pleased with the toy selection! My adult children happy having their own bathrooms and their cozy beds. My husband and I loved the community spaces inside and out, to hang with everyone. Close to beach and town. Highly recommend.
