We are continually upgrading our condo to keep things nice because we live here ourselves 3 months every year. Stay here and you’ll notice the difference versus absentee owners’ condos managed by the agencies.

Over the last few years: All new porcelain flooring throughout, new kitchen appliances and cabinets, granite countertops throughout, front loading washer and dryer, new 65", 43" and 40" TVs and much more.

With plenty of space and beds for up to six people, this 5th floor Ocean House II beachfront condo is a great choice for a getaway with family and friends. The oceanfront bedroom provides a comfy king bed with bathroom and it’s own door onto the oceanfront patio. Let the sound of the waves lull you to sleep. Second bedroom is facing the lagoon and furnished with two full(double) beds and has it's own full bath. Both bedrooms and living room have large flat screen TV’s with Dish Network and the entire condo has password protected fiber optic WiFi.

Recently redecorated with tranquil colors, you’ll feel relaxed the moment you walk in the door and take in the massive ocean view. Located on the 5th floor it’s not too high or too low. Dolphin spotting is a favorite pass time for young and old alike. The updated kitchen offers everything needed for entertaining family and friends or just enjoying a romantic dinner for two.

When you are not sinking your feet in the sand, go for a swim in the beachfront, zero-entry pool. It's heated and the largest in Gulf Shores. For the little ones, there are also kiddie pools. Plenty of lounge chairs by the pools, shaded verandas and community barbecue grills with picnic tables for outdoor cooking are conveniently located.

Location Location Location! It doesn’t get much better. Ocean House II on West Beach Blvd has that quiet tranquil laid back feeling but is within walking distance to bars, restaurants and top notch entertainment at “The Hang Out”.

small but comfortable for 3 people. we loved the balcony and being directly on the beach. the pool was way too cold to get into but it had been raining all week. we still enjoyed our stay.

This is the best property that we have stayed in during our visits to Gulf Shores. The condo was clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and we slept amazingly well. The living room furniture was so comfy! I wish the weather had been a little better, but overall a great trip! Thanks for the great experience!

Fantastic Family Vacation!

Our family of 5 enjoyed staying at this property in July! The condo was clean and comfortable. It was the perfect size for our family. An added bonus is the amazing view of the beach and ocean. We saw dolphin every single day from the balcony of the condo!

Perfect Vacation!

This was our first visit to the Gulf Shores and the condo, the beach and the location were all amazing! The condo was clean, plenty of linens, updated, comfy beds and in a great location. The beach was not crowded and we were only minutes to restaurants and stores. The booking process and check in/out process with the owners was simple and easy. We enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend!

Great condo for our family vacation. Nice pool, good view, comfortable furniture. Only complaint we had was the clothes dryer. Sometimes it would go through the whole cycle but sometimes it would only dry for about 10 minutes and then shut off. So we would just have to keep restarting it. But other than that it was great!!

AC unit made noise in second bedroom. Smoking right below unit was smelled inside. Dingy walkways. Master bed was lumpy. Too pricey for no inside pool. No weight room. Beach erosion was terrible. Won’t be back

Beautiful view.....just remember to bring everything

The view was beautiful. It was an easy walk to the pool and beach. The condo was very well decorated and the balcony had comfortable furniture. We did not know we needed to bring trash bags, dust pan, dish soap, hand washing soap, toilet paper and paper towels. Maybe a list of needed items would be helpful, as our past condo stays at other locations provided these items so we didn’t know we needed them here. The bathrooms in the condo had hair clumps on the wall and in the showers. The toilets were also dirty when we arrived. I would say if housekeeping can do a more thorough job and you know which items to take with you...this is a great place to stay!

Our stay in July

We loved the condo at Ocean House 2. The location is perfect. You can view the pool and the beach from the balcony. It's great for kids to run around on their own because you can still see them from the condo. The property is small enough to feel compact and close knit. The condo was nice and the master bed was very comfortable. The only recommendation I would have would be to leave renters with a couple of dishwasher pods, or an extra roll of TP and paper towels. I know this is a rental and you have to bring everything yourself but just have a dishwasher pod to get you started would be great. Otherwise, you fix dinner, like we did, and realized we had nothing, not even dish soap, to clean the dishes. Also, I would recommend leaving a broom with a dust pan for us to clean up the floor while we are there. I found the broom but no dust pan which makes it difficult to get rid of the mess on the floor. Other than that, it was a GREAT place and I would definitely come back!

I may have found the perfect condo…

This condo was amazing. I’ll just go room to room. The kitchen had everything we needed. I’d like to see more plastic and less glass. Made this mama heart nervous on that tile floor, but there were no accidents. The living room furniture was very comfortable with room for all of us to put our feet up. The balcony had poly furniture that was also very nice to sit in. The second bedroom beds were firm for me but the kids slept great. The master bed was better than my bed at home! It was not lumpy at all. On a scale of 0 being a cloud and 10 being the floor, I’d give it a perfect 5!! The building itself is what you might expect from an older building at the end of season. The corridors were as clean as can be expected for being well lit and attracting bugs. It’d be impossible to keep those clean. The lobby was nice. The pool is the best pool in the entire town. The beach has eroded some and there’s a steep step down to the water, but that is usually fixed by the city/county in the off season (I think). Overall this condo suites us perfectly and I will definitely be booking again!! Thank you!!

Overall Good with one not so tiny problem

It was overall a good stay. The unit has been updated (the condo building not so much) and the master bed is super comfortable. There are smart tv's in the living room and guest room. The guest beds aren't quite as nice as the master bedroom king but would probably be fine for kids. Just my opinion. The dishes/silverware, etc could use some improvement. Very mismatched and cheap. Due to a bug problem we decided not to use the kitchen. The second night we were there my husband killed quite a few roaches and we woke up to more the next morning. We had eaten Five Guys the night before so not sure if the smell is what drew them but after talking to the owner the building is having issues that they are trying to address. The 3rd morning there were a few tiny roach looking bugs but not nearly as bad as the day before. They were only in the kitchen, we never saw a bug anywhere else. The owner offered to have someone come out and spray but could not seem to get it worked out with housekeeping, as far as I could tell, or without my husband and myself waiting for them or letting them have the lock code which we were not comfortable with. Seems like he could have offered some kind of small refund or something for our trouble but he didn't and since I wasn't fishing for one, I didn't ask but it would have been nice if he'd offered. This is not something I want to deal with on vacation and other than a small apology and an offer to spray he didn't really do much else. One other small thing I didn't care for is that there are no screens on the glass sliding doors so there is no way to sit in the bedroom or living room and listen to the waves or let in fresh air without letting in about a million flies. All that being said, the vacation was good, the location is great, and the building is small and easy to get around (but could use some major updating). Would I stay there again? No, nor would I recommend it to a friend but that is mainly due to the bugs, if they get it under control it is an ok budget-friendly place to stay.
