Peaceful

Had a really peaceful and relaxing weekend during my stay at Green Valley Lake, the cabin was perfect. Felt right at home from the start. We got to play video games, foosball, and board games!! Swam at the near-by lake, and rented peddle boats, and kayaks! Our host Martin was very chill, and responded promptly to us. Loved it all!!

A wonderful weekend!

We loved our stay here at Get Lost Inn! The cabin is clean and cozy! We were pleasantly surprised to see some snow in the neighborhood compared to other areas in the mountains. This is due to the higher elevation of Green Valley Lake. And speaking of we would love to come back in the summer to explore the lake. The cabin is close enough to Snow Valley where we took our kids snowboarding for the first time. Fun was had by all! Thank you again!

New years 2024. Get Lost Inn

The master bedroom is much smaller than it looks in the ad. There were no dressers so we had to live out of our suitcases. 3/5 stars for the bedrooms. The bathroom is huge. Laundry accessible was useful. The living/dining/kitchen room was cozy and light. It snowed so we didn’t use the front deck items. I didn’t ask, but my 96 yr old dad uses a walker, and it was difficult to get him up and down the stairs. The kitchen was well supplied, and particularly loved the panini maker! The dining area was perfect for 3. Maybe have the TV opposite the couch? A nice, clean, small cabin. Would not recommend it for more than 4 people.

Property as described. Cozy and comfortable for our family of 4. Great location for taking a winter stroll around Green Valley Lake. Easy communication with host.

We've stayed at better, unfortunately

Although Martin was very thorough with his welcome email, arriving at the cabin was not easy, as there were no lights on, no porch lights, amd it was hard to see from the street. The majority of the dishes didn't look clean so we washed before using, if you're cooking definitely bring what you think you'll need, because the kitchen is not stocked at all. The games that are advertised on the listing is an insult, we only opened two but they were both not usable. There was no welcome basket, which we've seen at a lot of our other stays, this was the most expensive cabin we've rented and had high expectations because of it, and we were just not at all impressed. I think the cleanliness of the kitchen was the worst part, and the fact that the games weren't complete was a big bummer.

Great family spot

Property is cozy and welcoming. Comfortable beds, extra large bathroom, kitchen well stocked. Plenty of games on hand for the evenings. Love walking around the area.

Wonderful family getaway

Such a peaceful spot with perfect area for the kids to play. Our pup enjoyed the patio and the parents loved the porch bench. Amenities were great and exactly as listed. Martin was super accessible and helpful. Wonderful spot just a short 600 ft to lake and the walk around was gorgeous.

Green valley lake

We stayed a week and it was very peaceful and quiet. The neighbors found one of our dogs who had wandered off and held him while I was out looking for him. So kind! We went to Big Bear Lake and that was lots of fun. Overall a splendid cabin to stay and relax!

Fun, well-equipped, mountain cabin

Well equipped, comfortable, small mountain getaway. Pretty much as described with attentive owner who is most responsive. We would stay here again.

Great getaway

Our small family had an amazing long weekend at this cabin. Small but cozy and perfect for our family of 4! Just a 5 minute walk to the lake! We will definitely visit again!

Great Getaway

The property was perfect for my husband and I with our 2 dogs. The large deck out front was a favorite spot to lounge and the short walk to the lake allowed for beautiful scenery and a great walking path by the lake. Our dogs enjoyed splashing in the water and everyone was friendly. Martin was quick to respond with any questions I had. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Lovely Green Valley Lake Visit

disappointed

Some of the components of the cabin which are advertised were not available to us. There are instructions to NOT use the fireplace claiming in would send smoke throughout the cabin . How do you have a picture of your cabin with a fire roaring and then casually slip in instructions to not use it? Furthermore on the porch there is a bbq, fire-pit, and heat warmer which all use pro-pain. They had ONE pro-pain canister which was EMPTY. So even if it was full only one of those amenities can be used at a time, but in our case we had none. I called the owner and he told me to go buy pro-pain if I wanted to use them. Wow, great customer service sir. I would have bought three if you offered to reimburse me since it is YOUR cabin. While less annoying but still lackluster the dishes, coffee pot, etc were not cleaned well. Plates had stuck food pieces. Coffee pot had old grounds. Overall disappointed in the cabin. Would not return.

Cabin need and clean

Had a great time in GVL. Cabin feat our needs and porch was comfortable. Need big fan in living room to cool down house in summer. Could not cook inside without heating up the house due summer time heat. Cabin was in the shade of trees in am and pm but middle of day was hot on deck. Afternoon swim help cool down. Well not be using VRBO ever again FEES were to high, buy time we had made reservations, daily fees almost doubled, cost to much for little cabin . Thanks to owner he was helpful as need some changed.

Lovely cozy cabin in a beautiful place

We had a lovely getaway at this sweet little cabin in the woods. Everything was impeccable, comfortable and cozy. Every detail was thought of from warm down comforters to pretty blue dishes and candles on the mantle. Just wish we could’ve used the fireplace. Highly recommend this cabin get away!
