"Great home for extended family to spend time together and celebrate our mom's 85th birthday. Open spacious living area provided room for everyone. Comfortable beds & linens, nice facilities, hot tub, grill, games, books and other thoughtful amenities. Loved sitting on the porch in the mornings enjoying coffee and nature. Quiet & peaceful property."

"Such a cool spot with amazing lake views! The house was wonderful and the host was very responsive. The only suggestion I have, which is very minor, is the back patio set up. If you are like us, my family loves to sit outdoors. The house did have a wonderful fire pit with chairs and such, further into the yard, however, sometimes we wanted to just walk out onto the back little patio and have coffee, or enjoy a glass of wine at night but there was no lighting outside at all and the back patio was a bit unkempt. The house and property is so beautiful, we definitely wanted to be outside a lot to enjoy. Otherwise, the stay was great and we will definitely be back! :)"

"Our room itself was clean and comfortable, and so our overall stay was pleasant. But the facility itself is in huge disarray due to construction, which I understand has been ongoing since 2025 and not expected to be finished until late 2027. It would have been nice to know this ahead of time. It was quite shocking because the entire first floor was completely dismantled, and massive scaffolding outside. And the breakfast offerings were sub-par, so we did not even try anything other than some juice and milk. I still have to say that the room was nice and fairly well up to date, so A+ for that."

"This cottage is such a sweet escape from the hustle and bustle of life. Allison & Nathan have created a beautiful space to relax. The screened in porch is ideal for morning coffee or quiet evenings watching the fireflies and listening to the cricket frogs. Be sure to go kayaking in the creek behind the house! Highly recommend this quaint cottage!"
