Tí Mhaggie Holiday Cottage
This attractively designed detached holiday cottage is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty near Carna in County Galway. Tí Mhaggie Holiday Cottage is a wonderful base for exploring part of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way and is 45km west of Galway city.
For the more active, the area surrounding this holiday cottage is a wonderful walker’s paradise, with both roadway and hill walking readily available.
Property layout – Ground floor:
- Living room with multi-fuel burner and Freeview TV
- Dining area with large table, wooden floor and extra seating area
- Well equipped kitchen
- Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer providing extra space
- Bedroom 1: kingsize (with sleigh bed) ensuite with shower
- Bedroom 2: kingsize ensuite with shower
- Wet room with shower, toilet and tiled floor
Wifi is available and towels are provided.
Tí Mhaggie Holiday Cottage has oil underfloor central heating and electricity.
Outside Tí Mhaggie Holiday Cottage you will find an enclosed natural garden with outdoor furniture. You and your guest can also enjoy 26-acre of natural, un-spoilt grounds available for guests to use just a short distance away. Relax in the natural garden, or sit in the sun room and watch the ever-changing tide against a backdrop of the unspoilt Connemara hills with all its colour and beauty.
There is a bike store available onsite and private parking for 3 cars. Please note the sea is 50 yards away from this holiday cottage.

This is an extra charge which is mostly payable to the Property Manager/Owner. In some cases, energy is charged at a fixed daily rate or a rate per unit on the units consumed or you are required to top up a Pre-Paid Meter while in others, energy charges are included in the rate you have paid. We advise you to check with the local Owner/ Property Manager prior to arrival how this is calculated or prior to making the booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival by cash. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
