Stunning setting and helpful staff. Breakfast good, rather than great. Dinner a little ho-hum. WiFi repeater in room 609 needs replacing, which as a bit annoying as the data signal is poor.

A nice hotel but really let down by the restaurant. Chicken curry with four wee tiny bits of chicken, and a tiny scoop of rice. Definite not worth the money. We weren’t the only table to complain about this. We also ordered sides which we never received. However the manager was quite understanding of our upset, and handled it very well and professionally.

The location and surroundings of Redcastle Hotel can not be beaten. To enjoy your breakfast looking out onto Lough Foyle is a dream. Catherine and the reception staff are lovely and very welcoming. Breakfast was a little disappointing but the food we had in the Captains Bar was excellent - would highly recommend the chicken wings. Rooms were spacious clean and modern

We were disappointed with our stay here. They were doing some renovations in the main lobby. They looked really nice. Our room was outdated and in need of some TLC.. Disappointed there was no mini fridge. The shower had black mold all along the shower door floor. Windows need to be cleaned they were filthy. It is also a very busy venue for weddings. One night they were kids running around all over the place up and down our hallway, past 11 at night and the music was very loud and we were on the top floor. Wedding was four floors below. The spa and the pool were beautiful. We didn’t play golf but the golf course looked beautiful. The staff was excellent, breakfast was great and dinners were also very good.

Convenient location if touring the Inishowen Peninsula. Nice hotel, nice location in lovely grounds. Rooms very nice, restaurant nice, lounge seating area pleasant. Breakfast somewhat disappointing, fresh fruit salad not fresh fruit and consequently taste not what you would expect from a fresh fruit salad. Staff needed more guidance, request for tea/coffee followed by a 10 minute wait and a further request. Did not use the leisure facilities, parking excellent, reception staff very helpful and otherwise itwas a nicelocation to stay in.
