"I can’t say enough good things about our stay at Dubrovnik Palace. It’s built into the side of a cliff so you’re surrounded by stunning views of the sea the minute you walk into the hotel lobby. We were upgraded and we got an absolutely beautiful room, however I did get a glimpse of the room we had originally booked and that room was perfectly lovely also! The rooms hardly matter when the atmosphere of the hotel is so incredible. The pool area, which sits directly on top of the sea is so cool....

The staff was great and the property was great. We loved the walk along the promenade. Access to the old city was convenient. Very nice place to stay. Hotel is a bit expensive. They struggle with reservations at the restaurant so make them early and be very clear about what you want. "

"Hotel Argosy is kept spotlessly clean and the gardens are immaculate. Definitely worth getting a seaview room as the view is beautiful. We could also watch the cruise ships going past from our balcony. Breakfast was good with an egg station providing freshly fried eggs continuously. The orange juice or apple juice weren’t the best. Oliva, the poolside restaurant was lovely with a limited menu and drinks expensive. €9.50 for a glass of rose wine. Lovely bar in the lobby area and a great garden...
