"We spent 3 nights in a really large nice apartment suite with a balcony. We were next to the pool but it was quiet with a nice view of the lake and Monte Bre. The hotel overall is a bit tired and in need of fresh paint, but the grounds were very clean. We loved the pool for a cool break from the heat and crowds of Lugano. Its a trek to find restaurants, even with the bus stop. We found good dinners 12-15 minutes uphill or downhill and skipped dinner the last night. The staff were very friendly and attentive."

It's an easy walk to the park, the boats, the train. Lots of nice restaurants right there. The room was large...bath had a tub AND a separate shower. And the balcony made us feel like we were royalty...sitting up high, looking at the lake, sipping wine, being in the thick of things yet in our own space. Wow! Not gonna forget this one!"
