This is where i try to stay in Lucarno. Book early, it's popular! It's one minute from the station and overlooks the promenade. The lake views, particularly at sunrise, are fantastic. Although not large, the rooms have been nicely renovated. Breakfast is fairly extensive. There's free coffee and tea that you can enjoy all day while overlooking the lake from the balcony of the breakfast area. I shall return.

It is always a very pleasant experience to stay here. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is quiet, calm and has an attractive interior with a large central marble staircase. My room had a lovely lake view from a small balcony, this was a huge bonus. The rooms were refurbished recently and now have air conditioning which guests can control (I prefer to sleep with it turned off, but it is welcome on some of the more extreme hot days). The location of the hotel is ideal, with transport connections (trains, buses and boats on the lake) just minutes away. Breakfast is also a very pleasant experience, with a good range of buffet options and a balcony area for eating outside if desired. I also appreciated that the coffee machines in the breakfast area are available all day; sometimes it was nice to take a tea or coffee to the room on returning from an excursion. In summary - a very good, uncomplicated hotel with friendly staff in an excellent location.

I love staying here. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located for transport connections and the lakeside. The hotel itself is very clean and pleasant inside and has recently had some attractrive internal rennovations including air conditioning to all rooms and key card access doors. My stay this time coincided with the Luci e Ombre festival and from my balcony I had the best posssible view of the fireworks on the lake on the final day.

Das Hotel war sehr sauber und die Zimmer modern eingerichtet. Wir waren noch nie in einem Hotel das so gut gerochen hat, vom Eingang her bis zu WC einfach alles perfekt. Frühstücksbuffet hat auch eine grosse Auswahl, also für jeden etwas. Nachteil ist, dass es keinen Parkplatz vor dem Hotel hat um Ein/Auszuladen. Man steht also da auf der Strasse.
