"This is a VRBO property which dulled my usual Expedia experience. Due to not enough characters here is summary: Short power shut offs bc rain, water leaks, property labeled as pet friendly but isn't w/o fee, street cats in lot, poor ventilation, flies,etc The photos are accurate and the property was clean. We noticed water seeping in through the back door that is very close to the bed. My wife got up in the middle of the night and stepped on the small pool. Additionally, the side path flooded....

It was perfect … from the friendly greeting and introduction to Rockport at the front desk to all the details in the room that made it perfect for an anniversary weekend getaway. The location of the hotel was across the street from the harbor. You were located right in the center of action. I enjoyed the fact you could walk across the street and fish right off the pier. Take your morning walk on the street right next to the water. And the grounds were so inviting with the trees and picnic tables just outside the door to your room. There was a place to eat across the street and next door was the gift shop. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We usually stay at the La Quinta but this hotel was offering a competitive price and we figured since it was brand new we would give it a try. This hotel was very nice and very clean. My only complaint is the bed was hard but I am also used to sleeping on a memory foam so I cant complain to much.
