"This place is ideally located across from the train station and close to shops, and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the shared bathroom cleaned daily. The bed had an electric blanket on it which would be great in winter, though I made use of a lighter blanket that was available instead as I am a hot sleeper. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that there is no aircon in the bedrooms while there is everywhere else - though a fan was provided, it didn't really do much."

The location is outstanding, with easy walking access to town as well as the stunning Blue Mountains National Park. "This is a lovely property my room overlooking the garden and the main historic house was delightful, a very good quality self service breakfast and also a delightful and also a delicious range of cakes and biscuits for morning or afternoon tea island out. Over two days we never saw any staff or management, While this has little impact on our stay it was the only negative for us. "
