"It is a nice cozy house with lovely heritage interior and furnitures. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The house and room are clean and it's walking distance to town center. Definitely a nice stay overall. The only thing that could be better is the shower, the pressure was a bit low and hard to adjust the temperature."

"What...just... happened? This is an unattended building. There's a pile of keys in a bucket of rooms that have been used, and a pile of keys for rooms that haven't. There's no one on property, and if you can't reach the owner (?) by text, you can't check in. Which honestly, would probably have been the best possible outcome. Rooms are nothing like the pictures, this is a one star, eerily lit horror movie set. The heat isn't particularly effective, and the hot water takes about 5 minutes to warm up in the morning. "The room was very clean and tidy. The room I stayed in had a queen bed and a single so would suit a small family. Or you can use the single bed as a bit of a luggage store. It had a cupboard and another space for luggage and a small table and chairs where you may sit for a meal. Microwave and fridge included and of course a basic bathroom. While the property is dated it is well maintained and has everything you would need for a short stay. What I did like about it was the proximity to the main street and it was very close to supermarkets. If you are wanting to visit the three sisters, then it is no more than two minutes drive from this motel."

"Very good value for money. The place is just outside of the hustle and bustle of Katoomba but only a couple of minutes away from all the main attractions. The room is spacious, bed comfy, bathroom clean, I mean what else can you ask for."
