「We loved it! Everything about it, the area, how it was kept up, and of course, Henrietta was wonderful. The location was absolutely beautiful. We already are trying to schedule another stay for next summer. 」

「These cottages are special. It is a peaceful and safe area and so quiet! I would absolutely rent here again. It is close to Edinburgh, Stirling, even Glasgow. Please don’t be swayed thinking it’s too far from things. The privacy is worth it. Grounds are also beautiful to walk on. Thank you for a lovely stay! 」

I only gave 4 stars for accuracy of online listing due to the maps location on the posting did not match where the location actually was and we got a lil lost but a quick call with the host and we found it. 」

「Just what we needed after a week in crowded London. Beautiful property. Everything as promised. 」

「The location is perfect. Just to the south of Edinburgh, within easy reach of interesting places such as Rosslyn & Stirling.A long, tree-lined road leads up to the cottages. The cottage itself was clean, with everything you could need to make your stay comfortable.We took the tour of the house, given by Henrietta and her mother who filled it with many personal anecdotes and observations. 「Fantastic property with everything you'd need, or thought you didn't need.... great hosts who were eager to make sure we'd settled in and had everything we needed or any help with suggestions for sight seeing (although great information book supplied). We were new to the area but found the location perfect as a base for exploring near and far. over a few days..plenty to do on your doorstep with shops and eateries with-in Melrose if you don't fancy cooking.
